I thought it was funny that they went from protesting oil companies to becoming the CEOs of an oil company. It makes me think of modern politicians. They begin as idealistic outsiders but end up becoming the very thing they were fighting against. That seems to be the process. You want to change the government so you enter politics and become part of the government. Unfortunatley, instead of you changing the government, the government changes you.
